MARSUS’ NEW NEST
Life in the forest flows for all the little Marsus and their parents. Until a terrible storm destroys their nest and the forest trees. Now they must find a new home. Will it be easy to be accepted by the animals in the neighboring forest? Benjamin Chaud borrows Andre Franquin’s characters, redraws them and makes up new stories. With bright colors and pretty images, he tries to talk to young children about difficult issues: migration, acceptance, empathy, and solidarity are the hidden messages of these stories. The book has been chosen for the UNICEF Children’s Literature Prize 2020.
